As a live fashion illustrator and guest sketch artist, I’ve had the privilege of capturing unforgettable moments inside some of the region’s most breathtaking venues I’m talking glittering skyline suites to historic ballrooms and vineyard estates!
Each space brings its own energy, aesthetic, and atmosphere, and I’m so excited to take you behind the scenes of the venues that truly stood out this season. Read along to find your next event venue pick for the season!
1. Bisha Toronto SkySuite – Luxury in the Sky
A standout space atop the Bisha, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Toronto, under Marriott Bonvoy. The SkySuite is a dramatic floor-to-ceiling city views that set the stage for unforgettable evenings. Ideal for weddings, launch parties, and elegant soirées. The location is managed by INK Entertainment group, who have many other venues under its belt. For more information, click here.

2. Lodge On Queen – Cozy Spot
If you are constantly asking, “Where can I host my intimate wedding reception for 30 to 40 guests?” then Lodge on Queen is your answer! Perfect for small to mid-sized gatherings near Queen West. Stylish interiors with an intimate vibe, great for pre-wedding parties or corporate dinners, too!

3.Château Le Jardin – Grand & Timeless Venue
A classic full-service venue with soaring ceilings and luxurious ballrooms, perfect for large weddings and corporate galas. I attended Amanda Garrett Official’s Diamonds Are In The Details Fashion Experience. It was a regal affair! If your event wants that unique French-inspired interiors, Chateau Le Jardin should be on your hit list!

4. The Omni King Edward Hotel – Historic grandeur
A legendary Toronto landmark with expansive halls and old-world charm — ideal for large receptions and high-impact corporate events. With roots dating back to 1903, the Omni King Edward Hotel blends historic charm with modern elegance. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto’s financial district, it offers grand interiors, refined dining, and a timeless atmosphere that makes it a beautiful setting for both weddings and corporate events. I live-sketched here for a beautiful wedding!

5. Earl’s Kitchen on King West – Stylish Urban Dining
A great pick for smaller events (around 30–40 people), blending friendly service with a lively atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing!

6. Arlington Estate – Luxe & Expansive Estate in Vaughan
The Arlington Estate is a luxury venue that feels refreshingly different from the typical banquet hall. Thoughtfully designed for hosts who want something truly unique, it offers an elevated setting that creates memorable experiences for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations.

7. Heritage Estate Winery – Barrie’s Most Elegant Vineyard Venue
A wine-country escape just north of the city — ideal for rustic weddings, outdoor ceremonies, and unique corporate retreats. I like how you could have the ceremony outside with the vineyard being a gorgeous backdrop and the dinner reception inside.

8. Spencer’s At Waterfront – Lakeside Elegance in Burlington
Beautiful water views and refined dining make this one a standout for wedding dinners and receptions overlooking Lake Ontario. Perfect for smaller more intimate weddings with 50-80 guests.

9. Arcadian Venues– Classic + Contemporary
Two distinct spaces under one roof! I was live sketching at a corporate holiday party here and loved the loft vibes. It overlooks Nathan Phillips Square! Great for weddings, cocktail parties, and corporate celebrations.

10. Royal Botanical Gardens Auditorium – Burlington’s Hidden Gem
This one is a hidden gem and so perfect if you’re hosting a large corporate party! The auditorium is part of the Royal Botanical Gardens, and this elegant space pairs nature with function — ideal for galas, conferences, and special events. I did live guest sketches for Wilson Blanchard Management’s Annual Holiday party.

11. Portland Square – Classic City Venue
Portland Square is a multi-level dining and event destination that reflects Toronto’s love for immersive experiences. Located on a lively corner of King West, it brings together Primadonna, an Italian-American restaurant with a dramatic edge, Honey Chinese, the Portland Room event space, and soon, Rodeo Dive, Toronto’s newest country bar.

12. Old Mill – Toronto
Established in 1914, Old Mill Toronto is a historic landmark in Toronto’s West End, offering a timeless backdrop for weddings and events. With over 25,000 square feet of versatile event space, including 16 enchanting venues, this Toronto wedding venue caters to intimate gatherings and grand celebrations alike. I had the chance of doing live illustration at this gorgeous venue.

13. Fairmont Royal York – Toronto
This is the most memorable event venue for me because it is where Bridgerton Netflix, hosted their masquerade ball. I was doing live fashion illustrations of guests in attendance! Fairmont Royal york was once Toronto’s most popular and elegant supper club. This renowned space boasts over 5,000 square feet of meeting and entertainment space and wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows. With a tiered setting, wood dance floor, and a permanent stage, the Imperial Room offers a distinct backdrop for any function. This has to be one of my top favourite venues because of its grandeur!

14. Chotto Matte – Toronto
Situated in the heart of Toronto’s Bay Street, Chotto Matte is a venue that feels both elevated and electric. The space strikes a beautiful balance between contemporary luxury and vibrant energy — making it an unforgettable setting for any event.
Celebrated for its Japanese-Peruvian cuisine and artfully crafted cocktails, the experience here goes far beyond dining. From the dramatic open sushi counter to the glow of the Robata grill and bold graffiti-lined interiors, every detail feels intentional and visually striking.
Whether you’re planning an intimate dinner, corporate gathering, or exclusive celebration, Chotto Matte offers a refined yet dynamic backdrop that leaves a lasting impression.
